How to Reset a Motorola Bluetooth

    If you pair your Motorola Bluetooth headset with multiple mobile devices, you may get unexpected errors when you try to pair it with a new device. To solve the issue, you can reset the Motorola Bluetooth device. Resetting the device clears it of any pairing. After you reset the headset to its factory defaults, you need to re-pair the device before you can use it with the mobile device.

    Step 1

    Make sure your Motorola Bluetooth device is turned on before you attempt to reset it.

    Step 2

    Press and hold the "Call" button and both "Volume" buttons for 10 seconds to reset some Motorola Bluetooth models. The status light glows a steady blue when the device resets.

    Step 3

    Press and hold the "Volume Up" button and the "Power" button for five seconds to reset some Motorola Bluetooth models. Note that this action also clears all preferred FM stations.
