How to Update the Kindle Dictionary
The Amazon Kindle includes at least one free dictionary for each language you specified when setting up the device. If you want to update your dictionary, you can do this by using the Language and Keyboard option on a Kindle Fire or the Language and Dictionaries settings on a Kindle Paperwhite. After you select a language, the list of available dictionaries is displayed. If you select a language other than English on a Kindle Fire, your menu options also change to that language in addition to the dictionary.
How to Upload a Video From Your Laptop
Modern laptops with Wi-Fi adapters, Bluetooth connections and Fast Ethernet adapters allow you to download videos online from just about anywhere. If you download a lot of videos, though, your laptop’s performance may suffer a bit as the clips begin to fill up your hard drive. Regardless of the size of your laptop's hard drive, it doesn’t take long to fill it up with large video files. Free up some space – and improve your laptop's performance in the process – by uploading or saving videos you don’t watch often to an optical disc, external drive or even transferring them to another mobile device.
USB Turntables That Are Compatible With an iPhone
Some say that vinyl LPs are back -- others say it never left. Garage sales can be treasure troves of obscure albums never reissued on CD or MP3. What has changed with time is turntables' ability to interface with your computer, and by extension, with your iPhone. With a USB connection you can digitize anything with a groove and upload the resulting MP3s to your iPhone from your computer. Before you buy, you should consider each turntable's features and quality; you may only digitize your LPs once, so a poor transfer can haunt you for a long time.
