DIY LED Video Light
Hotlights and panel lights are used to even out lighting and brighten scenes in all kinds of videos. Hotlights consist of a single bulb, sort of like a spotlight. Panel lights generally have a row of lights to create even lighting over a larger area. Professional lighting can run into the hundreds and thousands of dollars, and professional light kits run much hotter than standard lighting and can pose a fire hazard if not monitored carefully. DIY LED lighting is a cost-effective way to add light to your videos.
Specifications of the Apple iPad
The Apple iPad is one of the most popular varieties of tablet computer. A tablet is a lightweight device that is often used for viewing multimedia, browsing the Internet, or using applications. Apple has upgraded the iPad several times since its launch in 2010. The iPad 2 was unveiled in 2011, and is thinner and more powerful than the original. In 2012, the third-generation iPod was released. This version includes several new upgrades, including a superior screen and a better processor.
How to Design a Simple LED Circuit
A simple light-emitting diode circuit is an excellent first project in electronics, as it illustrates the use of electrical current and gives you practical experience handling components. The circuit uses a switch to control a 20-milliamp current, turning a light-emitting diode on and off. The LED is a solid-state device that produces light from a small current; the circuit employs a resistor to limit the current, preventing the LED from burning out. This circuit is completely safe, as it uses a 9-volt battery for power. You can build the circuit in less than 20 minutes.
LCD Vs. LED
There's no shortage of confusion in the television market as new technologies emerge. A prime example of this is the presence of two related yet different technologies in LCD and LED-based LCD high-definition televisions. Most older and currently less expensive displays use cold cathode fluorescent lighting, or CCFL. Newer and higher-end displays use light-emitting diodes, or LEDs. Added to this confusion is the fact that LED technology has two sub-genres: locally-dimmed and edge-lit. Although the core liquid crystal-based technology remains the same, the difference in the way the on-screen images are illuminated often results in considerable performance and price differences.
